L’Autre “lieu” – R.A.P.A. (Research-Action on Psychiatry and Alternatives) is a Brussels-based organisation founded in 1980 that brings together people interested in or affected by mental health issues. Conceived as a space for encounter, support, and experimentation, it explores forms of care that extend beyond traditional psychiatric frameworks. Through housing initiatives, community support, public outreach, and collective knowledge production, the organization works alongside its members to imagine and develop alternative ways of living with, understanding, and responding to psychic distress.
